Would have been really neat if he touches you, does something, and what you thought was the finale was really the transition to act 4.Athanasynt Fandoms: Inscryption (Video Game) Almost feels like a wasted opportunity now. I chalked it up to a final act of desperation, but that’s much more interesting. I didn’t look too deeply into it, but you’re right the handshake didn’t quite feel as in character for him as it did for Grimora and Leshy. Because whatever he was going to do, if wasn’t shake my hand I’m glad that he was erased before he could touch me.
He’s also clearly the most sadistic of the 4, even compared to P03 with the way he treats his apprentices, so I refuse to believe his plans, whatever they were, were good. He was forced to constantly play defense against the rest, so we never got to see what he would do if he was in charge. Magnificus struck me as potentially the worst of the lot, he just never got to do anything because first he was trapped by leshy, then P03 took over, and finally Grimora put an end to the game. I’m sorry for the necro, but I just finished the game and found this after wondering the same. So yeah, Rebecha is in Inscryption because GameFuna keeps having their characters jump games, and the way Lionel Snill describes using the Gameworks Assistant, it's possible some of this is outside of GameFuna's control and instead is the work of Irving himself.
Sado keeps jumping games like it's entertainment, first being a bullshit superboss in Combat Arena X, then being modded(?) into Waste World, then being released from solitary confinement after the rug pull of "Vicious Galaxy II" actually being a raid on Gameworks, and finally making an appearance as glitches in Walk (which is the reveal of her true nature)

GameFuna has a way to create sentient video game characters, which is unrelated to the OLD_DATA (you know, unless copies of the OLD_DATA exist in every Gamefuna game, since all of them have sentient characters). In the third of these, she explicitly remarks about having been in the others. She can be seen in Combat Arena X, Secrets of Legendaria, and Walk. In The Hex, Rebecha herself is in multiple in-universe GameFuna games. If you people played the hex this wouldn't even be a mystery How did Rebecha end up in Inscryption, when she is a The Hex character? Because they got there on the water.Ī good question, but given how the tentacle cards are in Act 1 (with how Leshy doesn't seem to understand them being there, and how their symbols are covered in the rulebook), as well as the type of creature a Kraken (read: giant squid) works, it's likely to have something to do with the OLD_DATA, as it's established that in the game's natural state, the OLD_DATA is deep beneath the waters. This is why they are found in the Dredging Room in Act 3, and P03 never saw them anywhere else. The boat is for Leshy (and the others) to be able to take the water to the other Scrybes' areas, in the event one of the others takes over. For example, what was the boat going to be used for?
